Robotics in Manufacturing Camp

Before I started my internship at Greater Lafayette Commerce on May 13, I hadn’t realized the impact of the organization or the importance of the events they coordinated. I attended three events during my first week, all important, yet unique from one another. The three events I went to were Quarterly Development Series, the one-year anniversary of Trish’s Red Bird Café and Career Signing Day. By attending these events, I gained insight into the importance of them, and my perspective transformed as a result. Read more

Farmer's Market Volunteer Callout
Do you love visiting the Lafayette Farmer’s Market? Have you been looking for an opportunity to volunteer? Would your organization benefit from a free marketing platform? Here’s your chance to get in on the action! Be a part of our team each Saturday, May to October, from 8a-12:30p! Volunteers will have the opportunity to soak in the ambiance of the market while assisting with the SNAP benefits tent. Boiler Bridge Bash

Greater Lafayette Commerce will be celebrating the 7 th  annual Boiler Bridge Bash! Started in 2013 as part of the Town and Gown Goal initiatives of the Quality of Life Council, Boiler Bridge Bash bridges together campus and community in a fun, relaxing environment in downtown Lafayette. Businesses, community organizations, music, arts and culture all combine to show off the best of the community to incoming Purdue University Students participating in Boiler Gold Rush. 

This year the Bridge Bash will be located at Riehle Plaza along with 2nd and Main streets.

Business Strategies Series: Part 1 - The Four Decisions
Are you a business owner with annual revenues of $3 million or less?

Join our (FREE) Business Strategies Series (in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College - Lafayette ​ and Purdue Federal Credit Union ​) to learn proven methods for developing and executing a fantastic strategic plan.

Part 1 - The Four Decisions will be led by Patrick Frazier, CBC of The Coaching Authority

The four decisions refer to the critical decisions that growth companies must get right to maximize their revenue, profit, and time.

These four decisions involve the areas of People, Execution, Strategy, and Cash. Patrick will use these growth tools to help you and your leadership team to focus on these key decisions.

Mosey Down Main Street
Mosey Down Main Street is a series of street celebrations brought to you by the local artistic community. Join the volunteers, downtown business owners, artists and musicians who come together once a month from May through September to offer a free family friendly event that takes place right down the center of Main Street.

Purdue University Career Fair

Open to clerical, dining, custodial, finance, IT, skilled trades positions and more.

Ice Cream Crawl
The 2019 Ice Cream Crawl will be held June 22, 2019 from 1-4 pm with ten different vendors participating. This event is a Lafayette Rotary fundraising project with proceeds going to fund the Tippecanoe Co. Imagination Library, a program started by Dolly Parton. “Crawlers” can go to any of the shops to get a free sample of ice cream or frozen custard. There are shops in both Lafayette and West Lafayette. The locations are: Igloo Frozen Custard (2 locations), The Original Frozen Custard, Budges Drive In, Culver’s, Silver Dipper (2 locations), Sweet Revolution Bake Shop, and Cold Stone Creamery (2 locations). At each location Crawlers present their passport to be stamped. Those who are able to visit at least five shops are eligible to win a prize basket of ice cream items. Some Crawlers may even be able to get to all ten locations within the three-hour time window.
