The Grosse Pointe Public Library will celebrate National Library Week, April 9-14, 2012. National Library Week began in 1958 with the theme "Wake Up & Read". It was conceived as an effort to get people to use their library and spend more time reading. While that still holds true, we offer many other services in addition to books. We have put together a wonderful series of programs which highlight the many roles of the Library in our community. We at the Grosse Pointe Public Library are so happy to serve our entire Grosse Pointe & Harper Woods community! Please join us as we celebrate all the wonderful things your Library can do for you! |
