We'd like to thank everyone who participated in our Deck the Homes contest! Thanks to those of you who entered, we raised much needed funds to build a home for someone to enjoy NEXT holiday season!
It was a close race, with a host of festive entries, but a panel of our homebuyers has selected Mr. Michael Corrigan as the winner! Here's the winning photo!

On December 12, 2014, HabiJax held a home dedication ceremony for nine new homebuyers--our largest celebration yet! The homebuyers brought their families and friends for the dedication, and after speeches and prayers for the families, everyone enjoyed refreshments and snacks.
Thanks to our sponsor Proctor & Gamble, each family received welcome baskets filled with household items. Additionally, each child received a basket of brand new books thanks to HabiJax partner Project Storybook (read more about the dedication, Project Storybook, and the high school student who started this non-profit, Tess Reiman, in the "In the News" links above).
We could not be happier for our new HabiJax homeowners and wish them all the best in 2015!

For the month of December, 120 unduplicated volunteers spent countless hours on our Construction site and ReStore. We would like to thank the following groups for their hard work building homes in December:
