Now that we have your attention...our retail room in Hector, NY is getting a makeover to enhance your wine shopping experience! The largest change is that our wine can soon be shopped on the floor, but our reputation for strong customer service will still be as solid as ever. You can count on our staff to be standing by to assist you with your purchasing questions. We are also designing a more fluid layout to make weekend crowds easier to maneuver through and more cash registers to decrease your check out time. Spotlight: Ashley Huls
 Q: What is your position?
A: I work in the tasting room at Hazlitt's Red Cat Cellars in Naples, NY.
Q: How long have you worked at the winery?
A: I have been working for HRCC since May 2012.
Q. What is your favorite Hazlitt wine?
A. My favorite Hazlitt wine is our Sauvignon Blanc and Semi-Dry Riesling!
Q. What do you like to pair this wine with?
A. I pair these wines with seafood Italian dishes or an outdoor chaise lounge.
Q: What do you do when you're not working at the winery?
A. I spend time with my fifteen month son, Gavin, bringing him to zoos, parks and museums. I also snowboard, wake-board, play soccer, hike, camp and make wine and beer bottle art! Other hobbies I enjoy are graphic design and photography.
Q: What is your favorite event we hold at the winery?
A: The Naples Grape Festival.
Q. What is your favorite memory of working at HRCC?
A. Meeting new people and by that I mean, everybody who works at Hazlitt; I'm a social person and each person I have met has been my favorite part of working at Hazlitt!
Q: If you could live anywhere other than the Finger Lakes, where would it be?
A: Colorado, it's my dream to someday visit/live there. There is so much to do there, hiking, snowboarding (year round), and other extreme sports! Plus, the views are breathtaking!

New Surprises for Pouch Lovers
  Ever since we debuted Red Cat* and White Cat wines in stay-fresh 3.0 Liter pouches last spring, they have flown off retailer shelves, providing the perfect company to barbecues, sporting events, picnics, festivals and more.
Now, your other favorite wines, Bramble Berry* and Cabin Fever, will soon be available in the 3.0 Liter pouch! Make sure to keep an eye out at our retail shops in both Hector, NY and Naples, NY as well as at your local liquor store.

A Visit From Elizabeth Slater
On March 18th our staff had the opportunity to expand their education with a visit from Elizabeth Slater of In Short Direct Marketing. Elizabeth visited from California and has an expansive background in working with wineries around the world. She is currently offering us sound knowledge on how to constantly enhance your visit to our tasting room. So stop in, we're open and better than ever!

Spring Ahead With Your Getaway Plans
Family reunions, wedding weekends or spring vacations are just a few reasons to escape to this historic 1925 Victorian home on site of one the oldest wineries in New York state. Originally belonging to the Widmers, this four bedroom, two and a half bathroom house is spacious, warm and comfortable.
