From the President
Dr. Joe Sugg
We made it through (another) damp Springfest. Big thanks to all of our sponsors and vendors. And the Arkansas Scholars banquet brought a big crowd to Red Apple. Thank you to those sponsors as well. Congratulations to our award recipients and to all of our area graduates. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, and we hope those plans ultimately include a return to your hometown.
Summertime is making its way here, and that means plenty to do with preparing for Fireworks and Cardboard Boat Races. Thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, membership, and sponsors for making these events possible for our community. And a reminder - the fireworks will take place on Friday, July 5th. See you there!

Volunteer
Spirit!
How is success spelled?
Answer: Volunteers!!
Kudos goes to Carie Golden and Erin Golden-Vance for their commitment to coordinate the Springfest Beauty Pageant; their second year! With nine age groups competing in six categories, this mother and daughter team did a fantastic job of dealing with the weather, recruiting judges, plus all the details associated with the event.
Thank You Carie and Erin! |

Springfest
Mother Nature tried to dampen spirits at Springfest this year, but her efforts couldn't keep the crowds away. Many came out to enjoy the crafts, Master Gardeners demonstrations, bar-b-que cookoff, theatre productions, music and many other opportunities for family fun! Check out our Facebook page or our website for Springfest photos!
