What's New In Historic Kailua Village?
We are thankful for those who have optimism and the fortitude to keep their doors open. We are thankful for the restaurants, shops and services that have weathered the storm. We are also thankful for those that are starting new businesses in the Kailua Village Business Improvement District. And most importantly, we are thankful for the customers that are supporting these businesses.
Courtyard by Marriott Reopens
Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel reopened to visitors in November after a multimillion dollar renovation. The iconic beachfront hotel features 452 newly renovated guest rooms and suites with new island-inspired décor and modern amenities. It’s a great getaway close to home.
Coming Soon
New retail and restaurants are coming soon. Be on the lookout for Grand Opening dates for Old Navy, Niumalu Marketplace and the new 63,000 square foot Safeway and Kai Eats+Drinks in the former Bubba Gumps oceanfront location.
Eat Local
Did you receive a Hawaii Restaurant Card in the mail recently? The Kailua Village Business Improvement District features over 90 restaurants with both dine in and take out options. We invite you to eat local before your restaurant card expires in mid-December.
