Opportunities Coming Up

March 9: Spalding Happy hour at AWP in Seattle!


March 14: Limited workshop slots are available to alumni for the Quebec City residency, June 25 - July 3 in prose and dramatic writing. Email Katy by 3/14.


March 15: Reserve a Brown Hotel room for Homecoming--first come, first served. Link below.


March 23: Registration deadline for Business of Writing Seminars. $25 gets you access for the full day, March 25, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET. Seminars: creating an artist portfolio, copywriting, submitting to lit mags, grant writing.


April 10: Writing at the Brown Writers’ Retreat registration deadline. The retreat happens during spring residency, May 27-June 2. Be here for Distinguished Visiting Playwright Martyna Majok, 2018 Pulitzer winner for Cost of Living

Virtual Homecoming: May 31 - June 2.


In-person Homecoming: June 1 - 2. Pre-events May 31; after-party the evening of June 2.


First come, first served: Brown Hotel rooms at the student rate for Homecoming. $135/night, including tax. Submit the spring residency questionnaire by March 15; we'll confirm your reservation by March 31.
