The UNConference
The 1st IEEE EMBS UnConference on Wearable & Ubiquitous Technology
for Health & Wellness (http://embc2011.embs.org/unconference) to be
held on August 30, 2011as part of the program of EMBC2011 (http://embc2011.embs.org/).
We solicit the submission of abstracts for a Demo Competition that
will be held during the unconference. The demo competition will
highlight the medical applications of wearable sensors & systems
and will provide a great platform to highlight your work.

Demo Topic
The demonstrations will highlight wearable sensors and systems for
medical applications.
Abstract Submission
To submit for a potential demonstration at the unconference, please
use the following template and email the abstract to spatel19@partners.org.
Demo abstracts should be no longer than 1 page. Authors are also
encouraged to submit a video for increased visibility. If you are
submitting a video, please upload it to YouTube and send us a link.
All submitted abstracts and videos will be posted on the unconference
website.
Demo Presentation
The session will be organized using the speed geeking format.
Attendees will be divided in groups. Each group will have about
5 minutes to examine each demonstration and discuss with the
authors. Your presentation should first highlight (similar to an
elevator pitch) the need and impact of your technology (~2min),
followed by a demonstration (~3min).

Demo abstracts due: July 22nd 2011
Acceptance notification: August 5th 2011
Awards
Two demos will be selected for an award as the "most innovative"
and the "highest potential impact" demos.
