Scholarship Awards
The Class of 2025 has earned $5,027,048 in college and university scholarships. This number represents a combination of partial scholarships, full scholarships, one-time scholarships, and comprehensive, fully funded, four-year scholarships.

Sibling Enrollment Offers
Siblings of currently enrolled students get priority when an opening occurs at our school. Siblings also get the first enrollment offers for kindergarten. Kindergarten offers will begin being extended at the end of March. Remember, the Admissions Office staff works during the summer to extend offers and enroll students for the 2025-2026 school year that begins this coming fall, in August 2025. As families tell us their child/children will not be returning, we immediately extend offers to fill the open positions.

School Uniform Update
Our uniform provider, Risse Brothers School Uniforms, is ready to assist with your uniform needs!
They currently have most items in stock, except for plaid skirts, ties, and gym clothes. Plaid skirts, ties, and gym wear are expected to arrive soon, and all items, including the plaid items, should be fully available by June 1, 2025.
If you need assistance with any pending orders, Risse is happy to help you in-store and will do their best to fulfill your uniform needs as quickly as possible. Upper School Conferences
March 26, 2025
Middle Years Programme
Conferences will be conducted in person at the school. Teachers will reach out to schedule conferences with families as needed. This means that you might not have a conference on that day. If a teacher finds that a conference is required or would be beneficial for a student and helps parents understand a student's progress, the teacher will contact the family via email.
Families who are not contacted, but have questions, can always reach out to the teachers via email, understanding that the teachers have set work and conference times during which they can respond via email or set a meeting if needed.

Diploma Programme

Class of 2025 DP Visual Arts Exhibition
March 26, 2025, 6:00PM-7:30PM, The Cove
The DP Visual Arts Exhibition will be held this year on March 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the The Cove, located at:
402 N. Tennessee St.
McKinney, Texas 75069
Our Senior Visual Arts Students have worked hard to fulfill this important component for the IBDP Visual Arts Assessment. The art exhibited has been created by our seniors.
NOTE: parents of younger students may find some of the themes and artwork too mature for their children.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Guests may come and go between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Join us for a very special exhibition of our seniors' hard work and a celebration of their accomplishments. Please note, some projects and topics exhibited address mature content, parents of younger students may find some of the themes too mature for their children.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Students in Grades 10-12 may choose to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) at school on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The ASVAB is a required assessment of students entering the military but is also a useful assessment for anyone interested in exploring their aptitude for various career fields. Please note, that by taking the ASVAB, you are NOT declaring an intention to enter the military.
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (ASVAB CEP) is a free program offered by the Department of Defense that consists of the following:
- The ASVAB multiple aptitude test
- Interest Self-Assessment
- Career Exploration Tools

Important STAAR Testing Dates and Requirements
Please be aware of the following dates for the State of Texas STAAR tests in Grades 3-10.
We ask that families do not plan vacations during this time, as the school is unable to reschedule these dates.
Per House Bill 1416 requirements, students who do not take a STAAR test are required to complete 30 hours of required remediation per subject.

Do You want to Volunteer this Year?
Parents and Guardians, a fabulous way to help our learning community ROAR is to take on the responsibility as a school volunteer. Each grade level has different volunteer opportunities. Please remember that all volunteers on campus must complete a volunteer application form (includes a background check) and pay the fee prior to being able to sign up for volunteer opportunities.
The cost of the form and background check is included in some levels of membership to Parents in Partnership (PiP).
Please note that the processing time for the volunteer application is 2-3 weeks.

This is the one of the most honorable service awards given by the Youth and Government organization. We are so thankful to Mrs. Charles and her enduring commitment to our students, the spirit of service and our character values of Respect and Responsibility. Because of her work, our students learn to not just become civically engaged and informed but value their responsibility to make a difference as IB Global Citizens.
