October 1st is fast approaching.  Is your financial aid office ready for some big changes?

Early FAFSA is changing our calendars.  PPY is going to increase our use of PJ and double the number of cases where we have to split AGIs from jointly filed tax returns. And we know we're going to hear from more students who will tell us that their family's income in 2015 was higher than it is currently.  Although the Department of Education is confident that the increased use of the IRS's Data Retrieval Tool will offset some of this new workload, are you ready and staffed up for the changes?
