We all catch it.....

Greetings!),

Spring Fever. And I've got it baaaaad.

Ok (confession time.....), sooo maybe...... just maybe.......having a new outdoor space of my own to decorate might have a little something to do with my excitement level this year, but throw a girl a bone! The pollen is (almost) gone, the inchworms are (almost) history (UGH) and the new mulch is in the yard. Time to start thinking about longer days, leisurely dinners on the screen porch and entertaining on the patio.....ahhhhhh......

Fortunately, (for those of us who enjoy spending time outdoors), the past few years have really seen a tremendous improvement in outdoor furniture, rugs, fabrics and accessories. The selection is endless and the durability is better than it has ever been.

Start thinking about your outdoor spaces: Could some pillows freshen your screen porch? How about a tablecloth or runner for your outdoor dining table? Adding drapes to a screen porch or patio is a great way to soften a space and add a layer of privacy, in addition to getting a fresh new look. Often, just one of the above elements can change the look and feel of an outdoor space, but layering these elements can really create a cozy, "room-like" feel - like you just added another room onto your home!
