REMINDER: 2019-2020 Draft Calendar
The 2019-2020 calendar was presented to the Board of Education for a first-reading at their October 8, 2018 meeting. A second-reading and final vote of the proposed calendar will take place at the November 12, 2018 Board of Education meeting.

JCHS and HHS Bands Both Win Class Competitions!


For the first time ever...JCHS (6A) and HHS (3A) both won their district classifications at the Fort Zummwalt North competition over the weekend!

Congratulations are in order for all the JCHS competitors who traveled and attended the Parkway West High School Debate Tournament this past weekend in St.Louis.

A total of 22 schools were in attendance. After the competition was over, the Jay Debate Team earned 3rd Place overall! Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to Lady Jays Softball DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!
The Jefferson City Jays Softball Team achieved their season-long goal by winning the district title on October 13th. Congrats to the Lady Jays players, coaches & parents on an incredible season! #JAYPRIDE

JCHS Construction Update
JCHS Renovations Transitioning from Phase I to Phase II
Earlier this week, these smiling JCHS faces went behind the scenes yesterday to check out their brand new teaching spaces! Construction at JCHS is officially transitioning from Phase I to Phase II this weekend.

ATTN: JCHS Main Entrance will be relocated beginning MON 10/22
As part of Phase II of renovations, the Jefferson City High School Main Entrance (currently located between JCHS and the Nichols Career Center on Jay Drive) will be relocated beginning on Monday, October 22nd.

The new JCHS Main Entrance, along with ADA accessibility to the building, will be located at the northwest corner of the high school building (at the corner of Jayette & Jay Drives). The JCHS entrance will remain in this location throughout the duration of the project.

The Nichols Career Center Main Entrance will be located on the west side of the NCC building, accessible from Jackson St.
