Callaway Hills Named to 2018 "Healthiest Schools in America" List
Callaway Hills Elementary School was recently recognized, among 20 Missouri schools, on the 2018 list of the Healthiest Schools in America. Starting with extracurricular activities, the school now has healthy eating programs, a gardening club, and alternative seating in the classrooms.

Mark Your Calendars for North Elementary's 50th Anniversary
Join us for North Elementary's 50th Anniversary event on Sat. Oct. 6! A short ceremony kicks things off at 11am, then stick around for games for the kids, cupcakes and tours of the school. Commemorative shirts and coins will be on sale. Time capsule items will be on display, along with historic photos and yearbooks. And come hungry - several food trucks will be on hand to purchase lunch.

2018 JCHS Homecoming

Need to get your alumni/community group or school signed up to be in the Jays Homecoming parade? It's just 3 weeks away! Get the entry form here . Form is due Sept. 21.

The parade is Thursday October 4th, and the theme: "Jays Through the Decades - Jay Pride Never Dies!"

Line-up starts at 5:30pm on West Main, just west of the Capitol Building. The parade begins at 6:30pm. Due to construction at the Capitol, the parade will end at the Governor's Garden. #JCMO #JayPride

Mark Your Calendars for the 2018 Annual JCPS Foundation Gala
The annual JCPS Foundation Gala will be held on September 25, 2018 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel Ballroom in Jefferson City. The gala is an annual event to celebrate public education and induct special friends of the Foundation and school district into the Foundation's Hall of Leaders program.
