Dear Jeffco Public Schools Families & Community,

As the holidays approach, it is a good time to recognize all of the hard work that has gone into this school year so far. I know staff and students have expended a tremendous amount of energy and there can often be a sense of weariness in these last few days leading up to break. Because of that, the holidays come at a good time each year as they are an opportunity for everyone to reset and refresh, looking forward to an engaging 2020.

This holiday break, I encourage everyone to take time to reconnect with family and to invest in those relationships. This is especially true with our young people. Although the days seem hectic, they do go by quickly. Find ways to create meaningful and lasting positive memories with the children and young people in your life.

Over the break, you might also take the time to complete EnrollJeffco. Whether you are enrolling a new student in their neighborhood school, confirming re-enrollment in the same school, or applying for choice enrollment - EnrollJeffco is your one-stop shop to share your plans for next school year.

On behalf of all of us with Jeffco Public Schools, we wish you and your family a restful and peaceful holiday season!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jason Glass
Superintendent & Chief Learner

  • Warren Tech, Jeffco's premier Career and Technical Education center, announced the location of a third campus on the Dakota Ridge High School property in Littleton, anticipated to open Fall, 2021.
  • 3 groundbreakings took place for two elementary schools and one K-8 school.
FAMILY-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP SURVEY
CLOSES JAN 2
Since 2008, Jeffco Public Schools has administered an anonymous district-wide Family-School Partnership (FSP) survey to families. The FSP survey specifically gauges family input centered around six nationally recognized standards for family engagement:
  • welcoming all families into the school community
  • communicating effectively
  • supporting student success
  • speaking up for every child
  • sharing power
  • collaborating with community

Jeffco Public Schools is committed to ensuring that your family and school partnership experience is collaborative, successful, and helps your child learn and grow. We, in turn, use this data to examine enrollment trends, demographics, achievement scores, and other data points in order to better serve our communities' needs. All survey data results are posted on our website.

We welcome your feedback. The survey closes Thursday, January 2, so please take the time to complete the survey today. We appreciate your time and input!
