For the fourth time, KEEN Greater DC was named "one of the best" local charities by the Catalogue for Philanthropy! KEEN's work is featured in their print and online catalogue.
Burt Braverman Rides 100 Miles for KEEN
Board President Burt Braverman will be biking 100 miles next weekend to raise money for KEEN athletes as part of this year's 2018 Fund-An-Athlete campaign.
Burt has been biking and/or paddling for KEEN every year since 2010. His amazing efforts have paid off in a big way. Through Burt's rides and paddles he has raised more than $72,000!
A big thank you to Burt for his commitment to KEEN and our athletes. Have a great ride!
What Makes KEEN Unique?
Programs are:
-Free of charge
-Non-competitive
-Open to children with any type or severity of disability
KEEN board members, volunteers, athletes and friends have joined together to form our 2018 Fund-An-Athlete team. This team is ambitious! Their goal is to raise $50,000 by September 30.
Thanks to generous support of our sponsors and contributors, KEEN Greater DC continues to thrive.
We have space for more athletes in several KEEN programs, including
MD Kids Sports (enrolling ages 5-12) and our three new programs:
Zumba in Arlington,
Zumba in Vienna, and
Yoga in Silver Spring.
Our three new programs are designed for teens and young adults, enrollment ages: 15-21 years old. Please spread the word.
