Spotlight
Malice Domestic
Established in 1989, Malice Domestic is an annual fan convention in the metropolitan DC area that celebrates traditional mystery books.  The organization donates the proceeds of the conference's auction to KEEN! Thanks to their generosity, KEEN athletes throughout Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia were able to select and receive free books to add to their reading collections at home. Their resources also helped purchase equipment like puppets, letter blocks, books and more for KEEN athletes to enjoy at our sessions.

New Program: KEEN Yoga
Thanks to our generous donors and a new partnership with Kennedy Krieger Institute, we launched our 35th free of charge program: KEEN Yoga for Young Adults. KEEN Yoga is our first-ever weekday program. It takes place two Tuesdays a month at the Kennedy Krieger School in Silver Spring, MD. Yoga provides our young adults with the opportunity to quiet their bodies, stretch, create space within and relax after a busy day. "It's life changing," reported one of our athletes.

Space is still available, and volunteers are always needed. If you have a young adult (15-25 years old) who would like to participate or have questions, please contact Beth at programsdc@keengreaterdc.org. Enrollment forms for new KEEN athletes are available on our website here.
Volunteers can sign up at: https://www.keengreaterdc.org/volunteer/.

Year End Giving
This Holiday Season

Thank You Alumni Volunteers
Special thanks to the University of San Diego DC Area Alumni Association for volunteering at KEEN's DC programs this past weekend!  Do you have any alumni group that is local?  If so, KEEN would love to host your alma mater. Groups are always
welcome to come volunteer for one afternoon, once a month, or special dates that fit your schedule.  Opportunities are available in Montgomery County, DC, Fairfax County and Arlington.  Contact Beth for more details.
