Thank you to all our volunteers and volunteer groups from area universities for engaging with KEEN athletes through our online programs. Thanks to your support, every Wednesday night KEEN athletes enjoy activities centered around one of four themes: animals, visiting U.S. states, visiting countries around the world and crafts/dancing.

New Virtual Program KEEN Book Club
|
We're thrilled to announce that we're launching a new virtual program: KEEN Book Club. This 30-minute session will meet on Zoom on the first and third Thursday of each month at 4:30 pm. During each session, KEEN volunteers will read a complete story in a chapter book with pictures to view and lead athletes in activities and conversation related to the story.

In lieu of our traditional annual fall gala, KEEN Volunteer Ambassadors are hosting smaller virtual events to celebrate this year's KEENFest starting on October 17.
Along will those events, we will be holding an online auction. Everyone is welcome to register to bid, regardless of whether or not you are attending one of our virtual events. Bids can be placed from a computer, phone or tablet. We will communicate about the auction via email and text messages (to those who sign up).
Event details and links to register for the different events and auction will be sent out next week- so watch your inbox!

We are collecting recipes, photos, illustrations and stories to share with our KEEN community!
KEEN Parent and Board Member Karen Brinkmann will be compiling the recipes to create a fantastic electronic resource for all. We feel it's a great time to gather up those special recipes and share them with each other -- especially when we all are cooking and eating at home more than ever! The complete KEEN Family Cookbook will be available electronically with each recipe viewable on-line as well as printable at home.

KEEN Greater DC-Baltimore Parent Support Group is an opportunity to create meaningful connections and facilitate relationships to benefit KEEN families within our network.
This group will be a great platform where KEEN parents can virtually meet and share information, connect with community resources and help each other cope with their day to day lives and share realistic, practical solutions that works for their families, particularly during COVID-19.
