Happy March Madness KYSITE!

It's officially a crazy time for basketball fans and for the SDITE as we ramp up for the annual meeting. We hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the warmer temps! The KYSITE board has been busy getting ready for events this spring and summer. As of right now, the only concrete event we have on the calendar is the SDITE Annual Meeting which we are hosting from March 27-30 in Louisville. Below are some of the events to keep an eye out for.

  • KYSITE Summer Technical Session - Date TBD

2022 SDITE Annual Meeting
Please join us this month for the Southern District ITE annual meeting in Louisville. The meeting is from March 27th through March 30th at the Omni Hotel. For more information, please visit the meeting website here.

If you've been to any of our recent KYSITE meetings, you've heard us talk about the upcoming 2022 SDITE meeting that we will be hosting here in Louisville, KY. The local arrangements committee (LAC) has begun meeting and setting up committees to plan out all aspects of this conference. But did you know that Kentucky is one of the smallest sections in the Southern District? That means we need everyone (yes, even you!) to help us out with this meeting that is just a couple of weeks away. There are a range of options for volunteering, all from leading a committee to planning just one technical tour. To help us out, email Lindsay Walker at lwalker@hmbpe.com today!
2022 William "Bill" Seymour Student Scholarship
With the “William (Bill) Seymour Transportation Engineering Scholarship Award”, the Kentucky Section will award $2000 annually to a deserving student at an accredited Civil Engineering program in the state, specifically those with a strong commitment to transportation engineering. The deadline in March 31st, 2022. For more information, please click here.
