KYSITE Summer Golf Outing

The KYSITE Summer Golf Outing is next  Tuesday, August 8 at Weissinger Hills Golf Course in Shelbyville, KY. It is not too late to sign up. Please click the link below for more information and to register by COB tomorrow.
KYSITE Fall Meeting

Please mark your calendars to join us for the KYSITE Fall Meeting tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 21st in Louisville. The meeting will include lunch and a technical session.  Our past SDITE president, Tim White, will let us know what's new in the Highway Capacity Manual 6th Edition.  A registration link will be sent as soon as details are final.

Senate panel approves funding boost for Transportation Department

Late last week The Senate Appropriations Committee approved a funding plan that would increase discretionary funding for the Department of Transportation by nearly $1 billion. Meanwhile the House passed a bill that would cut the budget by $626 million. Neither plan comes close to the $2.3 billion cut requested by President Trump.
