Happy Fall KYSITE!

The leaves are starting to change, apple cider is being warmed up, the thoroughbreds are lining up, and Friday Night Football is in full swing. We hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the season! The KYSITE board has been busy getting ready for events this fall and next spring. Here are some dates and events to go ahead and get on your calendars:

  • Mid November - KYSITE Annual Meeting and Technical Session
  • January/early February - KYSITE Winter Technical Session
  • March 27-30 - 2022 SDITE Annual Meeting (in Louisville!)

2021 KYSITE Annual Meeting and Technical Session
Please join us this November for our annual meeting and technical session. The dates and location are still to be determined, but we are planning on having a two-hour technical session, followed by our annual banquet with a silent auction. Stay tuned for registration information coming out once we iron out the details!

2021 KYSITE Scholarship Golf Outing Recap

It was a close competition but Gresham Smith & Company came away with the victory. Dave Stills proved to be unbeatable on the day and won both the long drive and closest to the pin competitions!

If you've been to any of our recent KYSITE meetings, you've heard us talk about the upcoming 2022 SDITE meeting that we will be hosting here in Louisville, KY. The local arrangements committee (LAC) has begun meeting and setting up committees to plan out all aspects of this conference. But did you know that Kentucky is one of the smallest sections in the Southern District? That means we need everyone (yes, even you!) to help us out with this meeting that is just months away. There are a range of options for volunteering, all from leading a committee to planning just one technical tour. To help us out, email Lindsay Walker at lwalker@hmbpe.com today!
