Please accept this message as a kind reminder of a new requirement coming into full effect on November 13, 2017. This requirement is specifically referred to as Customs Act B.E. 2560. It was originally published on May 23, 2017 in the Royal Gazette and will now be strictly enforced corresponding to a 180 day period waiting period after publication.
The purpose of this act is to ensure that each and every package shipped to/from Thailand must show clear shipping marks. In tandem with that, these marks must match and also be notated on all shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, Bill of lading, etc.
According to Thailand customs, any Importer or Exporter found to be not in compliance with this policy shall be subject to a fine up to but not exceeding 50,000 (Fifty thousand) Baht by the Thai Authorities.
