This month, we mark another major milestone as we welcome our fourth primary care provider to the practice! Starting March 1, we’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Rachael Boland . Dr. Boland is board-certified in internal medicine and has special interests and advanced training in integrative medicine. February is also women’s heart health awareness month and cancer prevention month. On the blog, Dr. Megan Weisenberger discusses periodontal health in relation to heart health, and Dr. Gretchen Fermann discusses preventative measures for decreasing your risk of developing gynecologic cancers.

It’s also been a very busy month for Dr. Larkin and the media! She made several TV appearances in February, including nationally on Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson. Dr. Lisa Larkin was named to Medical Economics’ inaugural annual class of “ChangeMakers in Medicine” -- one of only seven physicians recognized by the national publication in a feature article released online this week.  
Now Offering Continuous Glucose Monitoring

We are pleased to now offer state-of-the-art Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for patients.

CGM is a way to measure glucose levels in real-time throughout the day and night. A tiny electrode called a glucose sensor is painlessly inserted under the skin in your abdomen in our office. The device measures your glucose levels throughout the day and stores the information on a disk that is attached to the sensor (smaller than a half dollar). You’ll return within three to seven days for removal of the device. Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium Kicks Off Membership

The Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium (CSHC) is a newly formed nonprofit whose mission is to improve sexual health and wellness of individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area. It is a membership organization of clinicians in diverse specialties, launched with the goal of improving sexual health care through professional collaboration and community outreach. 

The organization is about to launch its first-ever membership drive and will begin reaching out to sexual medicine providers in the Greater Cincinnati area. If you are or you know of a provider who might like to join, please visit for more information.
