We’re thrilled to announce that our new offices in Mariemont are now open!

With a new office comes new services and providers. Read on to learn more about our new offerings in pelvic health physical therapy, gynecology and treatments for sexual health issues related to menopause.

We also want you to know about two events in May. The first is a community sexual health lecture, featuring two prominent sexual medicine providers on May 11. The event is free and open to the public; however, reservations are required. Read more in our lead article.

The second is our Community Open House, Saturday, May 6 from 1 – 3 pm. Please stop by and take a tour, learn more about our model and enjoy some Graeter’s ice cream.

Community Sexual Health Lecture Set for May 11
The Cincinnati Sexual Health Consortium presents the Catherine Geering Community Sexual Health Lecture, Thursday, May 11 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber (3 E. Fourth St., Downtown, Cincinnati). The lecture is free and open to the public; however, reservations are required.
The lecture features two prominent experts in sexual medicine: Sheryl Kingsberg, PhD, from MacDonald Women’s Hospital and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, in Cleveland, OH, addresses women with her talk, “Sexuality, Intimacy and Desire: What Women Want.”  Kevin Campbell, MD, with Cincinnati’s The Urology Group, discusses, “Treatment for Male Sexual Dysfunction -  So Many Options, So Little Time.”

As the temps reach into the 70s more consistently, Cincinnatians will be digging into summer boxes to pull out one of the most prized parts of summer: our flip-flops. While I personally do not own a pair of these classic fashion items, I have considered every reasonable argument for them: they're comfortable, easy to slip on, and provoke a sensation of relaxation and freedom. As comfortable, convenient, relaxing and freeing for your feet as they may be, as a physical therapist invested in the well-being of your feet and back, I'm compelled to share the flip side of flip-flops.   (Read more...)

Gretchen Fermann, MD, to offer Gynecology Care in our Office

Seven Hills Women’s Health Center and board-certified gynecologist Gretchen Fermann, MD, will begin offering patient appointments in our Mariemont location in May. Dr. Fermann provides comprehensive gynecology services, including contraception, IUD insertion, colposcopy and other office-based procedures and care.
