Press Release
Supporting local small businesses during this seemingly never-ending pandemic is on everyone’s mind. Small business owners keep our towns thriving with local culture and friendly, personal service. Some of these homegrown businesses want to pass on their entrepreneurial passion to the next generation, and here in Vacaville, that’s happening!
Several Vacaville small businesses will be sponsoring 20 kid entrepreneurs in the Vacaville Community for the upcoming Valley of the Sacred Heart Virtual Business Fair on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Thanks to McGuire Capital Group, The Baby Shop, Katie Marie Designs, Lopez Family Martial Arts, Kumon Vacaville, and Pure Grain Bakery, each young entrepreneur has received extensive, online training from MyFirstSale.com. Kids have also learned how to successfully come up with a business idea, build a one-stop e-commerce website where customers can purchase real products, and become an entrepreneur for a day! Many of these kid entrepreneurs will continue building their businesses well beyond the fair.
Each business is very special because the students are selling their own products including fresh wreaths, bath soaps, handmade jewelry, baked goods, Christian peg doll sets, cutting boards, furniture, tamales, jams, rustic bouquets, portraits, survival kits, baby accessories, enchilada sauce, organic teas, succulents, greeting cards, and religious art and gifts. Each entrepreneur is also donating some of their profits to various charitable organizations!
The online stores are now professionally set up. They would love for you join them on Wednesday, March 31 for the virtual business fair and to buy one (or more) products to support the launch of their businesses.
Please RSVP for the fair here and check out the business pages!
Thank you for empowering these young entrepreneurs to take on the real world! They couldn’t do it without you!!
We hope to see you there!
