Congratulations Dr. Carine Nzodom, LPMA Resident-Fellow Representative, LSU-OLOL for receiving the APA Diversity Leadership Fellowship!

The Diversity Leadership Fellowship is designed to develop leadership to improve the quality of mental health care for the following (not limited to) minority groups at risk and underrepresented in psychiatry: American Indians/Native Alaskans, Asian Americans/Native Hawaiians/Native Pacific Islanders, Blacks/African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, and the LGBTQ community. The fellowship identifies and motivates psychiatry residents who - through the experiential and training opportunities of the program - will become well-equipped leaders in psychiatry by providing culturally sensitive mental health services to diverse and underserved populations.
