The Lower Gwynedd Business Association Advisory Committee is comprised of eight volunteer members who are charged with establishing services and programs that will meet the needs of the Lower Gwynedd businesses. Each issue will feature two of our committee members.

Linda Gerhard received the 2024 Lower Gwynedd Business Association Excellence Award at the Chamber's Annual Gala in November. She is the third generation owner of Gerhard’s Appliances, which is currently now in its fifth generation as a local retailer. The first store was established by Linda’s grandfather, Charles E. Gerhard, who owns the  patent for the ice cube tray.

The company’s core value, Our Service Makes the Best Products Better,” has stood the test of time. New features, advanced technologies, and streamlined brands are available everywhere; it is the excellent service that elevates Gerhard’s brand.



Gerhard’s currently has 6 retail locations and an online retail store that allows them to ship products nationwide. Under Linda’s leadership, they have expanded their Builder Division and initiated the “Gerhard’s Gives Back” program to support national and local charities.
