How timely this is for us ...I wrote this thought above before we had a small fire at our home this week.

We are so thankful for our family, friends and community. Hug a fire fighter!!!

Russian Tea Cakes

A family favorite because they look like snowballs and are perfect for bringing a neighbor.

Also great for curling up with a good book and hot tea!

Snowflakes are Falling! !

  1. To make some, first create a work surface by covering a large piece of cardboard with plastic wrap.

  2. For each snowflake, arrange 18 cotton swabs as shown. Squeeze a small amount of tacky glue where the ends of the swabs meet.

  3. Sprinkle glitter onto the glue and let the snowflakes dry overnight.

  4. Carefully peel each flake from the plastic. Collect and return the excess glitter to its container. Hang up your snowflakes with string.
