The ReElement Story - ReElement was born out of the consolidation of metallurgical coal assets in the Central Appalachian Basin.
Today, whether for defense technologies, artificial intelligence, transportation, energy systems, commercial infrastructure, or consumer products, ReElement is tackling today’s midstream processing challenges with a unique, cost-competitive, and environmentally responsible technology platform - built on patented innovation developed with Purdue University. We refine a variety of feedstocks – including mineral ores, brines, and coal mining waste; recycled end-of-life materials; battery black mass; and manufacturing by-products.
While many of the materials originate from domestic sources, over the past year we have announced strategic partnerships with companies in Africa, India, South Korea, and Europe to refine materials for supply chains that are independent of China. Our focus remains on building collaborative relationships - such as with Pensana PLC - to enable a comprehensive and integrated supply chain alongside partners such as Vulcan Elements, POSCO, AML, and U.S. defense prime contractors.
