2019 Bonnie Hunter Classes
Bonnie will be teaching at Mary's July 18-22, 2019.
Registration for classes and reservatons for Mary's Retreat Center will open January 17, 2019.
Classes are $75.00 each and from 9:30am - 4:00pm. Full payment is due with registration.
Marys' Retreat Center reservations are $75 per night (with a 2 night minimum stay). The first night's deposit is required at the time of your reservation, and the balance payable when you check out.
Please call the shop to register or make your reservations.
No refunds will be issued for classes or retreat deposits.

Looking for a great getaway? This is the place. Our retreat offers a large eat in kitchen, living room, 6 bedrooms, 4 and half bathrooms, sewing room and laundry room. All this in a newly restored 1813 Federal style building located in historic Bedford, PA.
We can accommodate 16 people. You will find all the comforts of home in the retreat. It is beautifully decorated and each bed is dressed with an antique quilt.
The kitchen is fully functional with pots, pans, dishes and silverware, everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. The bathrooms are complete with soap, shampoo, hairdryer and other toiletries.
The large sewing room is complete with sewing tables, cutting table, irons and ironing boards. It also has great natural light. Mary's Quilt shop is located in the same building and is complete with all your sewing needs.
The retreat is located in charming downtown Bedford. There are many great restaurants and shops for your enjoyment. Bring your family and friends for a pleasant getaway of sewing, eating and enjoying historic Bedford. We can design a class for you or come and sew on your own.

Ryan's Case for Smiles
a charitable organization that makes pillowcases for children with life threating illnesses. We are dedicated to helping children feel better to heal better.
Ryan Kerr, the inspiration behind ConKerr Cancer, was a remarkable young man. Ryan's battle with cancer began when he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at the age of twelve. He fought through five cancer recurrences, 30 months of chemotherapy, 15 surgeries, the amputation of his right leg and over 150 days of physical therapy. Ryan's sickness never slowed him down from living the active and adventurous life he loved. Ryan constantly challenged himself with new things - skiing, biking, skateboarding, rock climbing, scuba diving, cycling - mastering each new skill with courage, grace and aggressiveness.
His memory, inspiration and light will forever live on in our hearts and in the legacy he leaves through our daily work at Case for Smiles.
Your participation in this outreach is encouraged. We have local groups that gather and sew in Bedford. If you don't sew, we need cutters and other helpers. You can also make the pillow cases on your own and drop them off at the shop.
