Greetings from McCloud!
As the end of the year draws near, we like to reflect on how fortunate we’ve been this year. While this year continued to have pandemic-related challenges, we are grateful for our good health and that of our families.
Thankfully we were able to do some really fun road trips this year, including a backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon in May for Josh’s 40th birthday and a trip including Zion National Park and Sedona, in October for Linn’s 40th birthday. These trips, along with some local backpacking and day hikes, are what keeps us refreshed and able to provide the level of service that we do without getting burned out!
With the winter holidays upon us, we want to take the time to share how thankful we are for all of YOU. Our clients, friends, family and neighbors are so important to us, not only in our business but also in our personal lives. We are so grateful to live in this beautiful place, to be surrounded by all of the wonderful people in our little alpine community and to run our business here, where we are so happy to be living.
Cheers,
Josh & Linn

November brought on a few nice, new listings, which is always exciting! Although we are McCloud based, we also work all over Siskiyou County. Shop Local this Holiday Season...
and always!
|
|
Did you know that Shopping Local isn't just for consumer goods but for Real Estate too?
|
|
"Shop Local" is a term we hear a lot around the holidays. Most of us think of it as a way to support locally owned businesses while purchasing gifts, food, decorations etc for festive celebrations. But shopping local also applies to who you choose to work with in a real estate transaction.
Why is Shopping Local so important?
We all know people who own their own business and we know how tirelessly they work, day after day to keep their business churning and their clients happy. Owners of Local Real Estate Brokerages, like us here at McCloud Realty, also work hard to run our businesses, with all of the incredible challenges we face.
While many real estate agencies are either franchises or multi level marketing platforms, it’s important to understand why supporting local real estate brokerages matters. When you support locally owned brokerages, you’re supporting the local economy and the local community. The commissions stay with the local community, rather than going to franchise and corporate fees.
So when you are deciding who to work with for your next real estate transaction, remember to “Shop Local”!
For Holiday Gifts, Food, Home Decor and More, please check out our local shops, here in McCloud, in Mount Shasta and all over Siskiyou County! We have some really amazing business owners supplying beautiful and unique crafts and food items that make perfect gifts! Here are a few of our favorites that you might not know about!
