MA HIway Releases Updated Regulations FAQs and New Attestation Forms
|
|
The Mass HIway recently released an updated version of the Mass HIway Regulations FAQs, as well as updated Year 1 and Year 2 Attestation Forms. The Attestation Forms are used by Provider Organizations to attest to how they have met the requirement to connect to the Mass HIway.
These documents will be of interest to Acute Care Hospitals, Large and Medium Medical Ambulatory Practices, and Large Community Health Centers since these provider organizations have required dates to connect to the Mass HIway in accordance with the
Mass HIway Regulations
.
Below are additional details:
- Update to the Attestation Forms: The updated Attestation Forms are available in PDF format (Year 1 Attestation Form, Year 2 Attestation Form). These updated versions are dated April 2018, and replace the prior versions that were dated December 2017.
- The Mass HIway prefers the online method of submitting the Year 1 and Year 2 Attestation Forms over emailing completed PDFs of the Attestation Forms. The online method should be available in late April 2018. Organizations that are required to complete an Attestation Form by July 1, 2018 are encouraged to use the updated PDF versions of the forms for planning purposes, and then complete the Attestation Form when the online versions are available in late April 2018. The Mass HIway will send a notification as soon as the online versions of the forms are available.
- Update to the Mass HIway Regulations FAQs: The updated FAQ document, which covers questions related to the Mass HIway Regulations and the Attestation Forms, is available in PDF format and also on the Mass HIway website. The FAQs have been updated to include additional questions received since they were first published in February 2017.
On Tuesday, May 22, the MA HIway will present a webinar to review the regulatory requirements and the attestation process.
