Mesa County Libraries cardholders now have access to "The Washington Post" in addition to other newspapers, such as "The New York Times." When you're in the library, no account is needed, just use the library Wi-Fi. At home, after creating a library account, go to our eResources Page and sign up to receive access. | |
Friends Weekend Book Sale | |
The Friends of Mesa County Libraries weekend book sales return on January 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Grand Junction, 1425 N. 5th St.
All proceeds from the Weekend Book Sales benefit Mesa County Libraries programs, including Summer Reading, Comic Con, and Culture Fest. For more information, call 970-683-2438.

From January 8 through April 12, 2024, Emily Adamson will be the 970West Studio Artist in Residence, where she will focus on the art of rug making. Programs offered by Adamson will explore the history of rug making and techniques such as needle punching.
Adamson will be hosting weekly Meet & Greets every Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. starting January 9 at the 970West Studio located at 502 Ouray Ave, across from the Central Library.

It's time to unleash your creativity and submit your entries for the library's Recycled Book Juried Art Show.
The call for artists will open on Monday, January 8, and close at 8 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024. All entries can be submitted electronically via the library's website, and artists will be notified of acceptance by Wednesday, March 6.
