CIMCOOL Fluids - Mixing made easy!

You have selected the right fluid for your customer and now you need a mixer to get the concentration just right.  We have a great CIMCOOL proportioner offering for your customers.

CIMCOOL Mixmaster II (Prod Code E1008)
A single venturi mixer that can be mounted on the 2" bung of a 200L drum or mounted on the wall for your pail users. Easy to use and economically priced when a single concentration is needed in the shop.

CIMCOOL Mix Station (Prod Code E1013) 
A double venturi mixer that requires a wall mount for pails and  drums.  The  Mix Station can give your customers peace of mind with two different  concentration settings.  A low concentration for top up fluid and a  higher concentration for recharging a machine.  Simple push button operation makes it simple, quick & easy for everyone.

Fluid Doctor Tip:  
When installing a venturi type proportioner, you can follow these simple steps to obtain your desired concentration. You will need the metering tip kit that came with your proportioner, a refractometer, and a clean pail. 
  1. Remove the concentrate inlet hose from the venturi body and thread the "red" metering tip (hand tight only) into the venturi inlet.
  2. Hook up the water source, turn the proportioner on, and discharge into a clean pail.
  3. The concentrate inlet hose should completely fill with coolant concentrate.  (This can take a few seconds depending on your shop's water pressure).
  4. Check the coolant concentration at the discharge hose with your CIMCOOL refractometer.
  5. You can install a larger or smaller diameter metering tip depending on the desired concentration.  (Refer to the metering tip chart that comes with your proportioner).
Note:  Repeat the above steps when installing a Mix Station Proportioner.

CIMCOOL Mixmaster S 
(Prod Code E1017)
Our best proportioner...all the way from Europe! Solid metal construction with reinforced discharge and water inlet hoses.  The Mixmaster S easily mounts on our 200L drums and 1,000L totes. Coolant concentration settings can be adjusted with just the turn of a dial - no metering tips required. How simple is that!

Heated Service Returns - We won't leave you out in the cold!

"Heated Service" or "Protect from Freeze Service" is needed for transporting most CIMCOOL metalworking fluids in Canada between November and April.  Transport companies providing this service, will charge additional fees. If heated service is required, these additional charges will be included in your freight charge.

Remember:
  • Transportation companies charge an extra fee for heated service.
  • Do not store totes, pails or drums in outdoor storage and/or unheated warehouses.
  • Some CIMCOOL products stored in cold temperatures can become difficult to pour or pump due to viscosity changes.
  • In cold weather conditions, some CIMCOOL products can be more difficult to mix.  Extra stirring or agitation may be needed.
  • CIMCOOL proportioners will make mixing easier under these conditions.
Most CIMCOOL fluids, if frozen or subjected to cold temperatures for a long period of time, need only to be thawed and stirred before use.  Contact CIMCOOL Technical Services for assistance.
