Hello! It's graduation time once again. Minnesota State awards more than 38,000 degrees, certificates, and diplomas each year. Our graduates make a difference here in Minnesota, across the country, and beyond. I share with you today the stories of two of our grads — one who works in the rising field of cybersecurity and the other who is dedicated to making a difference through scientific research. Enjoy!

Manley positively challenged by ever-changing field of information technology
It’s a long way from Benin, Nigeria to Duluth, Minnesota. But for Esther Manley, the distance didn’t matter. Once she heard about the unique cybersecurity program at Lake Superior College, she knew she had to make the trek.
Nelson dedicated to making a difference with scientific research
Thanks to a few educational experiences along the way, including obtaining a degree in biotechnology from St. Cloud State University, D’anna Nelson has found a career field she greatly enjoys, studying human diseases and finding treatments or cures for those diseases.
