Morrow County Promotional Travel Map Launched
Travel and Tourism is a billion dollar industry that creates 5.3 million jobs a year.
Have you ever been on vacation and picked up a few travel maps at the hotel? Have you gone to AAA to pick up travel brochures before a trip? Most travelers have and nearly 60% of them use those promotional maps to plan their trips. Morrow County is a growing destination for day and weekend trips. We have great B&B's, restaurants and parks. The only thing missing is the tourists.
The Morrow County Chamber of Commerce is producing a full color promotional travel map to be distributed around Ohio.
Members can purchase an ad space for as little as $100.00. Similar spaces on commercially produced maps would cost upwards of $500. 2500 copies are to be printed and distributed around Ohio with travel agencies, state parks, hotels and AAA. This is a great way to get your business noticed and to attracted tourists to the area.

Chamber Opens Business Library
The Chamber of Commerce proudly opens the business library at their office on High St in Mount Gilead. Now member have access to over 20 books with topics from business plans to marketing to website design. Members can check out these books for free for up to two weeks at a time.

The Chamber is also available to help members with business planning. Carolyn holds a Masters in Marketing Communication and she loves helping businesses plan and analyze their marketing and business strategies.
