Thanks for joining us in Baltimore!

A big THANK YOU to those of you who made it to the NELLCO Update or stopped by the NELLCO booth at in Baltimore.

If you weren't able to make it to AALL or didn't have a chance to visit with us, connect with us now! You can find the NELLCO staff contact information here.
WE WANT YOU! *

We are seeking volunteers for several positions:

Reference Interest Group Chair
The Reference IG is a group of self-selected library staff members who work in or have an interest in reference services. This group offers members the opportunity to network with colleagues, present programs and demo products, share insights and ideas, problem solve, solicit advice, share projects and successes, and explore new initiatives. The Chair leads the discussion during the Interest Group Roundtable at the annual NELLCO Symposium. If you are interested in this position for a two-year term contact Corie Dugas. If you have questions about the practical aspects of the position, contact the immediate past-chair Jacob Saywald.

Resource Evaluation Group
At NELLCO we are approached by a number of electronic resource providers interested in partnering with us. We are seeking to create a Resource Evaluation Group who will receive login credentials and offer feedback on new and interested providers/resources to determine if they are a good fit for NELLCO member libraries. If you are interested in participating in this group for one or two years, email Corie Dugas. The time commitment is anticipated to be 1-2 hours per month.

* Legend has it that Uncle Sam originated in Troy, New York just a few miles from NELLCO's office in Albany. In 1961 Congress passed a resolution adopting this as the official story.

New Trial

We are offering a trial of Sabinet's South African Legislation and African Research Journals. As NELLCO members, you have free trial access now through September 12, 2018. Log in to your Consortia Manager account for additional details.
