Varrianna Warburton
Varrianna is 9 years old and has been a member of the NBGC since 2013. Varrianna is dynamic, spirited and smart. Over the years, Varrianna has participated in basketball, our music program, dodgeball league, cheerleading, photography club, art projects, and cooking. She has also been a member of our "Triple Play" program and LEGO League, both national programs. Varrianna is always upbeat and busy. She is helpful, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Varianna takes pride in being a member of the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. Her favorite thing to do at the Club is LEGO League. Here are some of her other favorites:

Zayvion Stanley
Zayvion is 12 years old and has been a member since 2010! On most days, you can find Zayvion in the Teen Room. As a Club member, Zayvion has participated in Power Hour Homework Club, basketball, dodgeball, photography club, and the national program, "Triple Play". Zayvion is the first to volunteer his time and efforts for helping out around the Club. He helps keep order in the locker room hallway by signing out locker room passes for Club members and participates in the 1st grade reading mentoring program three days a week. Zayvion is a jewel! He gleams with pride every day being a Nantucket Boys & Girls Club member. Zayvion's favorite thing to do in the Club is dodgeball. Some of his other favorite things are:

Join us on Friday, February 3rd for a MARDI GRAS themed Family Fun Night!
We will be hosting a potluck dinner, music by DJ Brian and Lily Potter, mask making, games, face painting, and a bake sale, put on by our SMART Girls Club (all proceeds of the Bake Sale will be going towards our staff member, Rachel Stone and her amazing road to recovery from breast cancer!)
Our SMART Girls Club will also be having a clothing drive - clothing donations (new, clean or gently used clothes) will be collected for charity.

In an effort to reach out to some of our early "tweens", we have compiled daily activities, specifically targeting our 6th graders. Each day of the week a different staff member leads a new activity. Here's what we have going on now:
Monday: Indoor Gaga Ball
Tuesday: Culinary Club
Wednesday: Field Trip
Thursday: Music, movies and videos
Friday: Cooking and Crafts
The response so far has been great, and we look forward to working more with these members!
