Summer Program 2015

  

Summer Program registration forms will be available here at the Club on Monday, February 2nd. Please note a few changes that will be occurring within our registration process this year:

 

  • Until march 1st only Full Summer memberships will be eligible to sign up.
  • A 50% deposit is due at the time of registration- no later than April 1st. After April 1st full payment will be needed at time of registration.
  • Members will be separated into age groups. Because of this, enrollment will be limited this summer by age.
  • If you are in need of financial assistance, please stop by the Club to pick up a scholarship form.

DO NOT FORGET- our Summer Program has sold out the past THREE YEARS! Please do not wait to sign your member up!

Nantucket Community Sailing Program Registration Info! 

 

 

The Nantucket Boys & Girls Club and NCS work closely with each other over the summer months to ensure that the island's youth has the opportunity to take advantage of Nantucket's waters. NCS Program registration is open NOW for year-round Nantucket Island residents!

 

  • NCS offers programs for children and adults ages 5-18+
  • In 2015, programs will run from June 22nd through August 21st and will be divided into one and two week sessions, offered both in the mornings and afternoons.
  • NCS will scholarship more FREE and discounted weeks of sailing this coming season than in any previous season!
  • NCS will offer round-trip van service to Polpis harbor, from the Nantucket Elementary School, for both morning and afternoon programs.

Teen Trip to Wachusett Mountain
  
This February break, our teen members will have a very unique opportunity to go ski Wachusett Mountain! Because of the generosity of Wachusett Mountain, our teens will receive a lift ticket, ski rentals, a lesson, and discounts on food for the day, all for a very minimal fee. Club Members will leave the morning of February 25th and will return that evening.

  
  
Team Tasha!

Club members remember the life of past Club member, Tasha Grosshans. Tasha was a wonderful Club member and will be missed by the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club.

Thank you to everyone who is helping this basketball season to be the absolute best it can be! We have been receiving very positive feedback from various community members, and couldn't be happier. Thank you to our staff, the Nantucket Elementary School, our volunteer coaches, to our parents and of course our members for making this unique basketball season run as smoothly as possible.

 

All star teams have been selected and are posted at the Club. Our all star teams will compete March 13th-15th in Hyannis and surrounding towns.
