**TIME SENSITIVE** Ag Commissioner Survey Supporting Emergency Proclamation

In collaboration with Industry and County partners, the Napa County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office is conducting a preliminary agricultural damage assessment survey to evaluate potential damage or losses as a result of the Pickett Fire. If you are a grower or vintner with property in the vicinity of the Pickett Fire, please complete the survey at the link below.

Immediate information is necessary to support a County emergency proclamation issued Sunday, 8/24, by the Napa County CEO, Ryan Alsop. Participation from agricultural producers, ranchers, and impacted wineries is critical and helps us estimate the value of agricultural losses, supporting the need for a local emergency proclamation.

All information reported is anonymous and will be used to compile the damage assessment report for Napa County, potentially qualifying the County and its agricultural producers for access to state and federal resources. Participation in this survey will not impact future insurance claims or other disaster assistance.

Please click on the following link to submit a Pickett Fire Damage Assessment Survey as soon as possible. Please only submit one survey response per agricultural or winery operation. Best estimates of existing damage and potential future crop losses are acceptable. The deadline for reported losses is TONIGHT, Tuesday, 8/26/25, at midnight.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact the Ag Commissioner’s Office at (707) 253-4357 or agcommissioner@countyofnapa.org.
