Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester, Awarded $1 Million from HRSA for Innovative Project

An assistant professor at UR Medicine's Eastman Institute for Oral Health was recently awarded $1 million from the federal government to pioneer and implement a training program centered on primary dental care for underserved populations using an Inter-Professional Primary Care (IPC) approach.   Read more.

NYU College of Dentistry  Honored by NY State Senator for Senior Dental Van Initiative

NYU Dentistry's Dr. Winifred A. Montuori, adjunct clinical instructor of cariology and comprehensive care, and Mrs. Constance Robinson-Turner, NYU's Smiling Faces, Going Places  mobile dental van program manager, were honored at a Senior Appreciation Breakfast hosted by New York State Senator Leroy Comrie to celebrate National Senior Center Month .   Read more.

NYU College of Dentistry's Yu Zhang Awarded Nearly $3.7 Million by NIH's National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research

The grants will support research to develop improved materials for restorative dentistry that are both resilient and aesthetically pleasing.  Yu Zhang, PhD , associate professor of biomaterials at NYU Dentistry, will lead the two projects .   Read more.

NYU College of Dentistry Approved for $13 Million Research Funding Award by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute

A research team at New York University College of Dentistry (NYU Dentistry) has been approved for a $13.3 million funding award by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to study cavity prevention, quality of life, and school performance .   Read more.
