All of us at NorCal Cocker Rescue want to wish you and your families a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. It has been a challenging year for everyone. We have rescued several dogs with medical issues that are now doing better. We also have our group of forever foster sanctuary dogs that we care for daily. We are so grateful for donations received to help keep our rescue going. We hope that you enjoy our newsletter with happy photos of dogs who were rescued and adopted.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!

Max is 10 years old and was surrendered because his owners could no longer care for him. He is truly a Big Teddy Bear! Sienna was as stray from the Bakersfield shelter. She is around 10 years old, not spayed and has multiple mammary tumors which we are taking care of. She is the sweetest girl! We just want her to heal well from her surgeries. Thank you to Sue who drove from Fresno to Bakersfield to Merced to transport her to our volunteer Michaeline, who brought her to Sacramento.

Lady Mae is 10 years old and was surrendered by her owner because he could not take care of her medical needs. She is on 3 different medications for skin and ears, plus thyroid medication. She is very overweight, so is also on a diet. She has beautiful eyes and temperament and once she sheds some pounds and has her hair grow back, she will be a beauty!

HAPPY TAILS

CeCe was adopted by Haley and Emily and they could not be happier to welcome her into their home! They love adopting senior dogs and CeCe has a 16 year old brother from the SPCA! Finley was adopted by Sorrel and her son Ami. Finley will have a fun-filled life of camping, long walks and kayaking and other fun on the water! Yay!

Handsome Pork Chop was adopted by Mike and Becky who also adopted Oreo from us several years ago. Looks like Pork Chop has made himself at home. Adorable smiley faced Max is happy and loved in his new home with Dick and Barbara. He will enjoy lots of cuddle time with Dick and Barbara.

Sienna (on lap) was adopted by Dale and Barbara who also adopted Max. Max was a little slow to accept his new sister, but they are buddies now! Tex was adopted by Trey and Laura and I think their love is mutual :-))) Tex was harder to adopt because of some resource guarding - but Trey and Laura were a perfect match.

Pepper was adopted by Rolf and Emily who also adopted Copper from us a couple of years ago. They are one happy family ! Paul and Suzanne lost their sweet Harrison several months ago who was also a NorCal dog. Their home was empty without a dog and along came Moxie who we understand is a "daddy's" girl :-)

Clyde is at it again! Here he is on a paddle board with mom Claudia. Fun! There is a cocker in there somewhere...did you find him? That is Rudy who lives up in Oregon and is on a pack walk with a professional dog walker!

Wilbur and Stu enjoying a quiet moment camping at Ice House :-) I think Wilbur is happy! Valentino had a sparse coat when we had him, look at his beautiful coat now! Must be all the love he is getting!

Charlie's mom and dad, Mike and Sherry, say that his favorite things to do are sleeping and eating...looks like he is enjoying both! Butter's mom says she loves to nap in the laundry basket :-)
