SUMMERTIME

We hope this finds you all safe and well. We all wish this Pandemic would end soon, but it looks like it may be with us for awhile.

NorCal has rescued several dogs the last couple of months and also, of course, are caring for our many sanctuary dogs.

We want to Thank all of our supporters who generously donate to help our dogs. We still have many expenses for veterinary care, food, flea/tick medications, heartworm medications, eye medications and more to take care of incoming dogs and our many sanctuary dogs. THANK YOU!

PICNIC CANCELLED

Because of the Coronavirus, we have decided to cancel our picnic this year. We feel this is the best thing for all of us. We will miss holding it and seeing so many of you and your dogs that visit us each year. Next year we will have a bigger one and best one ever!

Because the Picnic is one of our biggest fundraisers, we have put a "Shopping Page" on our website to buy many of the things we sold at the picnic and other events like Pet-a-Palooza and Woofstock. We are new at this, so we are making improvements and adding new items weekly. We also are doing a Live Facebook Sale on August 15. In the works also, is a Silent Auction and selling Raffles on line. Stay Tuned! See below for more information.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!

Can Can (Ce Ce) was a show dog in the highlight of her life. Now she is retired and looking for a home to live out her golden years. She is 12 years old, deaf, sweet as can be !

Pork Chop aka Cherrio was a stray at the shelter, was adopted by another rescue and returned. The rescue is no longer in business so we took him in. He is 8 years old, deaf, loves tennis balls, totally mellow guy who has a great wigglebutt!

Ringo was adopted 5 years ago, but was recently returned because his owner could no longer care for him. He is 8 years old and blind.

This if Finley! He is not a cocker, but a sweet 2-6 year old spaniel mix. He is a spunky, fun boy who was a stray from the Oroville shelter.

When we were contacted by the Elk Grove Shelter about Sammy, we were told he has kidney disease and didn't think we would be able to take him. But, Amy, one of our fosters wanted to foster him and give him love during his last days of his life. Thank you Amy! He was a stray and very emaciated. Here he is enjoying a bed, and then looking for food for a snack! We hope to fatten him up a bit.

HAPPY TAILS

Tippy was a new dog too from an owner could no longer care for her. She was adopted by Daryl and Susan who were previous adopters. Freddie went over Rainbow Bridge, so they wanted to rescue another dog.

Here is Ringo again! Adopted by Mike and Judy who also had another dog of ours that went over Rainbow Bridge.

Barry was adopted by Chris and Monica several years ago. This boy loves to swim and tease his two Shepherd brothers that

chase him around the pool.

Belle is a sanctuary dog relaxing on a lazy summer afternoon.

Butters was adopted by Barry and Ellen . He is not too thrilled about getting groomed...

Handsome Riley was adopted by Mike and Joanna.

Murphy's mom Suzanne said he snuck into some sour cream. He looks guilty.

We have added a Shopping Page to our website where you can shop for our many hand made items that we usually have at our picnic and other craft fairs. Below are just a few of the many things available. Many of the totes and poo bag holders come in a variety of dog breeds. Let us know what you are looking for and we will see if we have it!
