Last Sunday was a celebration of the "Baptism of Our Lord". We examine what Jesus meant by telling John the Baptist that he must baptize Jesus in order to "fulfill all righteousness". That scripture text and Jesus' invitation to follow him on the Way resulted in many of you asking insightful questions about baptism, reflecting on your own baptismal story, and even requests to get baptized. If you have any questions about baptism or interest in getting baptized, please do not hesitate to contact me at rob@np-church.org. I'd be happy to join you in these conversations and I look forward to celebrating the sacrament of baptism or a renewal of baptismal vows that many are requesting.

Pastor Rob

Sunday Service, January 18, 8:30am & 10:30am

Last Sunday we discovered the importance of baptism to walk us onto the Way of Jesus. This week we will continue to learn about what it means to be on the Way as we read The Gospel of John 1:29-42. There are some essential life lessons that treading the Way of Jesus seeks to teach us including: humility, discovery, and how to recognize God's presence in the midst of our busy lives. I want to invite you to worship with us on Sunday in joyful song, meaningful fellowship, and Christ-centered teaching.

What to Expect this Sunday

Prayer Partners will be available at the front right-hand corner of the sanctuary after each service. Prayer Partners for the 8:30am service will be Robin Kochanski and another volunteer and Dolly Coulter and Glenda Medeiros for the 10:30am service. They are here to offer you a listening ear and spiritual guidance. Don't hesitate to approach them for support and encouragement.
