Our month of gratitude continues at North Point Church. Our Fellowship time between services runs from 9:45-10:30 and we are committed to making this a time for all church members to connect with one another in between the 8:30 and 10:30 services. This week we will be making a "Wall of Gratitude". Small cards in the shape of leaves will be provided for you to write a personal gratitude. We will post these on a wall in the entryway so that our church can share in our gratitude together. Additionally, we will have an update from Joe Koski at both services about some upcoming changes at Youth for Christ which includes the opportunity to thank him for his service with youth, and hear the plans for the Next Door's future. We will also meet Denzel, who will serve as a transition leader at the youth center for Youth for Christ. Please join us for worship and fellowship at North Point this Sunday as we continue 30 Days of Gratitude.

Sunday Service, November 16, 8:30am & 10:30am

One of the greatest stories of gratitude in the New Testament can be found in the Gospel According to Luke 17:11-19. Ten Lepers cry out to Jesus as he passes by. They cry out for healing and Jesus responds to their request. Having been made well as they followed Jesus' instruction, there is but one of them who turns around and goes back to thank Jesus. We often focus on the one leper who turned around and rightly so. But how about the other nine? This week we will ask the question of what might have prevented the other nine from turning around and showing gratitude. Further we will ask the prophetic and introspective question of how we are often more like the nine than the one. Please join me this Sunday as we seek to grow deeper in our faith, show gratitude towards God in worship, and share life together.
