This Sunday will be our first "Two Worship Service" Sunday at North Point Church. We would ask that you be praying for our church family, our staff, and our generous volunteers during this transition. And whether you are planning to attend the 8:30am or 10:30am worship service, please plan to join our entire church for our unified Fellowship Time in between services from 9:45-10:30. To kick off our Fellowship Time, we are having a 'pie social'. Please bring a 'pie to share' on Sunday as we begin this new chapter at North Point Church: "One Family, Two Services".
Blessings,
Pastor Rob

I want to give you three weeks notice to reflect upon an annual Thanksgiving tradition. Many families go around the Thanksgiving table and ask everyone to share "what are you grateful for this year?" So what are you grateful for this year? I remember my Grandmother always being grateful for her health and family. I was always grateful for my favorite soccer player (I know...I wasn't very deep!). Little did I know, this annual tradition was exposing us to one of the most powerful spiritual disciplines in the Judeo-Christian tradition: Gratitude. The Thanksgiving meal tradition that I rolled my eyes at in my ensuing teen years actually was offering me ancient sage wisdom on how to live a life of happiness and contentment. Gratitude is like a stick of dynamite that we treat like a birthday cake candle. Its explosive and transformative power lay firmly rooted in our theological and biological DNA as human beings and this Sunday we will start a 4 week sermon series on Gratitude. This week's sermon is entitled: "The Transforming Power of Gratitude" and you can read Psalm 92 and 95 in preparation for this message. I look forward to seeing you all at either 8:30 am or 10:30 am for Sunday worship, praise, thanksgiving, and fellowship!
