A Note from Cait
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking with Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) members from several health systems. We know the invaluable service these councils provide, and weren't surprised to learn that many PFACs have played a significant role in bringing OpenNotes to their institutions. We share the experience at UCHealth in Colorado below.
We’re also excited to share work published this week in the Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR) shedding light on what patients value about accessing their visit notes. I encourage you to read the article (linked below) and add to the discussion on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or our movement hub, a new page on the OpenNotes website with materials created to help patients ask for their notes and share their experiences with others.
