Collegiate Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, which includes
Bucks County Community College,
Community College of Philadelphia,
Delaware County Community College,
Montgomery County Community College and others, is
developing a training curriculum (page 17) for maritime workers.

more than 200 volunteers who participated in the
4th Annual "Rock the Block" revitalization effort organized by
Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware counties and
Pottstown CARES, a partnership between
Montgomery County Community College,
Pottstown School District, the
Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.
Luzerne Students and Faculty Recognized with Awards
Two students and a faculty member from Luzerne County Community Collegewere recently recognized by the American Advertising Federation of NEPA with 2019 ADDY Awards.
Students Michelina Leonard and Sierra Gorzokowski received a Gold ADDY Award in the student division. Chris Vida, assistant professor of Communication Arts, received a Gold ADDY Award and Judge’s Choice Award.
