Dual Enrollment Touted as Solution to Skills & Learning Gaps in Report
A recent MassINC report indicates that dual enrollment or early college programs could help curb a number of pressing problems like growing credential gaps across race and class, declining enrollment in public colleges, and a lack of skilled workers. The study noted also that dually enrolled students were twice as likely to complete the FASFA and enroll in college.

PA Community Colleges Respond to COVID-19 as Situation Evolves
Dr. Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez was inaugurated as Montgomery County Community College’s sixth president during a special drive-in ceremony at MCCC’s Blue Bell Campus on Friday, April 16.
Dr. Bastecki-Perez said she plans to expand upon the College’s vision, mission and strategic plan together with the “passionate, enthusiastic, equity-minded, innovative, resilient and determined members of the Montco Family.” Watch a video of the ceremony here.
April is Community College Month
Did you know that, in 2019‐20, Pennsylvania community colleges partnered with 1,811 local employers across the Commonwealth to provide $10.1 million of customized training for more than 75,000 Pennsylvania workers, including 12,705 individuals through partnerships with WEDNetPA?
