"Our students, from high schoolers in an entrepreneurship program to a nearly 37-year-old mother of five about to enter our registered nursing program, completed required presentations. All through video conferencing," wrote Dr. Nick Neupauer, President of Butler County Community College, in a recent letter to the Butler Eagle.

Dave Majetich, a  Community College of Allegheny County Engineering Technology student, is using his skills and 3D printer to make face shields for medical personnel. Since mid-March, Mr. Majetich has been spending his weekends printing headbands for the face shields used by front line workers.

“ Pennsylvania Highlands Community College changed my life,” said Emily Krisko, December 2019 Penn Highlands graduate and one of two Pennsylvania 2020 Coca-Cola Gold Scholars. “I identified my passion and charted an educational pathway to a career; I enriched myself and my community through volunteer work; and I had the opportunity to grow. I really found myself there.”

Dr. L. Joy Gates Black, President of Delaware County Community College, recently spoke to FOX29 about the college's job training programs. During the interview, she discussed students retraining due to recent layoffs, upskilling as they seek promotions and attending prior to transfer to a four-year college or university.
