Community College Offers an Affordable Start for Students
Ten days before heading to college, alarmed at a sibling’s $80,000 college debt,
Elijah Sommerstopped himself “from getting sucked into the flow of everybody else.” Instead, he enrolled at
Lehigh Carbon Community College then transferred to
Muhlenberg College. Now a senior, he's
majoring in biochemistry with plans to go to medical school.
